In order right now to get the music box to play music you have to stick your hand in and hold down the bar to active the music box.

This also needs to be cranked in order to play the music. The wood box measures 16.5" Wide X 8" Deep X 6" Tall. You can flip up the bottom of the Music box to access the Pennies.
